What is Integrative Medicine?

Integrative medicine is a holistic healing-oriented discipline that considers and evaluates an individual as a whole

This includes their physical, emotional, behavioral, social, spiritual, and environmental factors, in combination with their overall health. In short, integrative medicine integrates all aspects of YOU - mind, body, and soul - to heal and optimize your health.

Integrative medicine incorporates several medical disciplines to optimize and heal your specific issue. Your treatment plan may include traditional medicine while incorporating chiropractic care, acupuncture, yoga, massage therapy, or behavioral therapy to aid you in your holistic healing process.

How about Functional Medicine?

Functional medicine combines cutting-edge scientific research with a compassionate, patient-centered approach to healthcare. It determines how and why illness occurs in the body and restores health by addressing the root causes of disease, disorder, or imbalance for each individual.

The functional medicine model is an individualized, patient-centered, science-based approach that empowers patients and practitioners to work together to address the underlying causes of disease and promote optimal wellness. It requires a detailed understanding of each patient’s genetic, biochemical, and lifestyle factors and leverages that data to direct personalized treatment plans that lead to improved patient outcomes

By looking at the whole person and how all the systems in the body work together, functional medicine offers a truly holistic approach to health and wellness.

We are a cash based health care model in order to provide you with the best care possible

A cash-based practice does not have contracts with insurance companies. They are out-of-network providers. They charge patients directly for their services which eliminates the need for medical billing. At the completion of each visit you will be given a Superbill with appropriate diagnosis codes and fees outlined so you may submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Cash-based practices don’t have as many restrictions on what services they can offer. The self-pay pricing is less expensive than insurance company's high deductibles.  With this, there is no longer a third-party payer who has a say in what treatment plans patients receive. This give patients more access to lab and diagnostic testing along with more comprehensive care.
